The Tech Garden is an affiliate of CenterState CEO, a twelve-county business leadership and economic development organization. A private, not-for-profit organization, CenterState CEO represents more than 2,000 members and serves as the region’s primary economic, community and business development catalyst. CenterState CEO works to achieve regional growth and total community prosperity through partnerships, planning and problem solving.
With a focus on education, events and advocacy, UVANY seeks to advance the number, scale and quality of private equity investments across New York State. These individuals and member venture capital firms, working with entrepreneurs, companies seeking funding, private equity firms and professionals strive to improve deal flow and facilitate greater availability of capital for all investment stages.
SyracuseCoE is a federation of firms, organizations, and institutions that creates innovations to improve health, productivity, security, and sustainability in built and urban environments. Activities within SyracuseCoE include research, product development, commercialization assistance, and education programs. The scope of application interests include systems that monitor and control thermal comfort, air quality, lighting, sound, and water quality in built and urban environments and innovative energy systems, including clean technologies and renewable fuel sources.

For experienced, ad hoc technical talent, The Tech Garden’s residents can rely on DevBox, an in-house software development team intended to help residents get to their MCP (Minimum Compelling Product) faster. DevBox provides a variety of project management, front- and back-end development and UX design services at entrepreneur-friendly rates.
WISE, a women’s center for new and existing businesses, helps entrepreneurs get started and supports them throughout their journeys of making their dream businesses a success. WISE provides one-on-one business counseling, training, workshops, and mentorship for women looking to start and grow a business. Their staff and certified business counselors are ready to help women design their business plans for success.
The New York Business Development Corporation is a project financing partner, promoting access to capital for New York’s startup and small businesses and working with lending partners on government guaranteed (SBA and USDA) and conventional loans. One of the largest CDC lenders in the country, NYBDC is a 127-member bank consortium that administers SBA 504 and 7A loan programs, along with special programs such as the Statewide Zone Capital Corporation and the new NYS Small Business Revolving Loan Fund.
Launch NY is nonprofit venture development organization with a mission to identify, support and invest in high-growth, high-impact companies and catalyze the entrepreneurial culture of Upstate New York through regional collaboration with ecosystem partners. Launch NY collaborates with organizations whose purpose is to assist entrepreneurs and encourage entrepreneurship. In so doing, they continuously support, and assist in sponsoring, regional events that seek to inform, educate and provide networking opportunities for entrepreneurs.
